12 March, 2009

The lovely morning sun bathing our old home in warm light...*sigh*

Was hit by a strong wave of nostalgia, while I was deleting some old photographs from last summer.
Here are some outtakes from the photos I posted on Flickr last year...
Tuesdays with Morrie~ The book I read for a whole month and features in many of my photographs...Dessert tea by Brooke Bond Taj Mahal and books from Crossword bookstoreJuicy red pears...
Enjoy your day!

Lovely shots! I was sorting out some books and found my "Wear the old cost, Buy the new book" bookmark. Such a cool motto to have :-)

Archana I absolutely love that you have fresh flowers around your house everyday - they add so much color and beauty to space. Do these grow in your terrace?

Any ideas for me who doesn't have access to fresh flowers but want to have something like around the house?

Shalini- Thanks:-) Love the bookmarks from Crossword:-))

Anon- Thanks! Flowers always do the trick of brightening any corner of your home:-))

I did a post on Rang Decor about fruits and flowers in home decor:-)

Do chk it out...the few flowering plants in our balcony are Bougainvillea and star Jasmine:-)

Sometimes even leaves and fallen flowers like 'Fragipani' can help:-))

Madhu- Thanks:-) Let me see how long I can continue this mini- series;-)

you said 'let me see how long I can continue it' :) I so understand what you mean :) But I'm doing it & u are doing it & maybe- just maybe we CAN do it & keep doing it :)
I love that table cloth & all your photography as always, you have such an effortless way of composing your pictures. I think if anyone woke u at midnight & told u to shoot, you'd quickly shoot some brilliant pics & go right back to sleep & think nothing of it :)

Vineeta- Sometimes I feel you are too kind with your words....

I think Flickr is a space that inspires one to do better and gosh Vineeta I spend a lot of time to get it right:-))

Thanks again!
