life...

these days...
* a big fat green barbet starts it's musical duet with the cuckoos in the summer afternoons.
* a lovely cold glass of fruit smoothie, when I get home from the sun.
* the cool morning breeze caresses me while I cut and prune in my balcony.
* melons, strawberries, grapes.
* tabebuias and jacarandas. pinks and purples paint the skies and the roads.
* countdown for summer vacations begin.
* ice-creams are devoured just minutes after breakfast.

Before I leave here is some amazing eye-candy from
Love Made Visible.
The beautiful Lakshmi Menon appears in the Hermes Campaign - Hermes Orange, Indian Pink.
Inspired by the painted elephants of Rajasthan. ( India sure is rocking!)

Hey Archana,
Love the post... awesome colours...the pinks of the flowers and the smoothie are beautiful... About the Hermes campaign, they are in double page spreads everywhere... as much as I like Lakshmi Menon I do not think much of the campaign at all.. elephant with nails painted pink and orange ... and come to think of pink and orange ( great combo but..) does'nt get more cliched than that... look fwd to more pink shots from you.. this is more like the real deal here when it comes to eye candy!

Your pink photos are beautiful, especially the drink, which i am wondering what it is?
So lovely to discover your blog (via Smosch) and see snippets from India (one of my favorite places).

dunkin donuts will soon sue hermes! the orange and pink color of dunkin donuts is too entrenched in our brain to think of it as hermes -

It's good to see these sporadic posts , sort of like seeing a familiar face in the crowd.
