devouring cookbooks...

I am a voracious cookbook reader.
I love cookbooks.
Not only do I love trying out recipes from them but also love collecting them.
Some for their rustic food photography, some for their authentic regional cuisine, some for their simplicity, some for stories from bakeries of far away lands...
Nowadays I am leaning more towards recipes using wholesome and natural ingredients.

I would try anything that suggests using fresh locally or home grown vegetables and fruits. So when I saw Jamie Oliver's cookbook recently, I just knew I had to pick it up.

The rustic food photography...
Enjoy your cookbooks:-)

Hi! I just saw the link from my FB page so here I am!

This is a lovely post. I have cookbooks as well but pretty much rely on the internet for inspiration. You've made me see things from a different light. I'll look up the books you've shared here. Thanks for the inspiration!

Dramatic photos! Luv' them all!

I discovered this year that I like cooking :) So naturally cookbooks become important although the Internet is not so bad either. And my latest find has been 'Samayal' which is a brilliant find in my opinion considering the move to Japan with the soon to be husband :)

Thumbs up on this post.
