...there is no Autumn in Bangalore.
but
* there are trees with falling leaves.
* the air smells lovely.
* sunlight warms some beautiful corners in my home.
* the beginning of festivals.
* a stillness in the air.
* anticipations of new things.
* body is dragged out of a cosy bed.
* mind is bursting with ideas.
* learning about Autumn with my daughter.
* loving a season in transition.
* isn't it a season for hibernation?
*UPDATE~Taking a break from the internet, but will be checking my mails so feel free to write in;-)
Enjoy the season everyone. See you later.

Love the poetic feel of your post. Autumn is one of my favorite season. It still feels like summer over here, but fall is just around the corner.

Beautiful post. I missed autumn terribly when I lived in places where there weren't falling leaved in brilliant oranges and reds... but my husband missed the smells and colors of the desert when he moved somewhere with a vibrant autumn. How interesting our perceptions of home.
fall is an awesome season aint it? last fall i had a very amazing incident. while i was walking home ( mumbai) a bunch of gulmohur flowers fell on me. still its d most beautiful moment
I started to observe the changing seasons during my stay in Pune. I was surprised to learn that all these years i had never taken a closer look at these subtle changes. Your post made me nostalgic.
Lovely pic to accompany an equally lovely post.
Beautiful blog!
The bengalooru setting makes it very familiar to me.

Fall brings with it a sense of farewell to carefree, lazy, hazy summer days - but not far behind are apples to be plucked from orchards, pumpkins to be picked from patches, goblins and witches to be dressed for Halloween, and my favourite the loot bag season for ladies aka Navratri
