Amy Ruppel.
Just discovered this amazing artist, photographer, designer Amy Ruppel through decor8 ( April Archives ). Her subject is usually simple images of birds & nests.
She uses beeswax layered under & over digital prints on paper derived from her photography, then cuts into rounded shapes and then completes with drawings etched into the wax. Lovely!

Ceramic Incense Sticks Holder.
Don't know when my love for Incense Stick Holders began. I now have wooden, ceramic & metallic holders. This ceramic one with Jaipuri hand-painted design in light green is lovely.
Ceramic Goodies.
I have a weakness for ceramics. A well crafted ceramic piece is a delight to the eye. I found this amazing Triplet Container Set- $26 and Star Burst Teapot ( Sold Out!) in Sprout Studio.

Ganesha basking in the morning sunlight.
Was having my morning cuppa in the balcony. The sunlight streaming in on the stone Ganesha Idol and forming these shadows had to be captured and posted. We picked up this stone Ganesha from a roadside shop in front of the Chennakeshava Temple in Belur.

Tranquil - A Homestay.
We stayed at a Homestay called Tranquil in the coffee plantations of Kerala. I just can't begin to explain the natural beauty of the place, attention to detail by the hosts & the amazing hospitality. Still recovering from all the pampering.

My Attempt at Jewelry-making.
I have long been nurturing a secret passion for designing jewelry. Wasn't sure when or where I would diplay it. I just string together glass beads, metal pendants of Indian Gods/Symbols and create interesting neck pieces which I wear for my own pleasure and creative satisfaction.
I got inspired by young designer Ana Romero & through her blog designer Ronit Golan. Now I am posting some of the stuff I have made.
