Spring poetry...

The season that makes you whisper to yourself...
Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair...  ~Susan Polis Shutz
 The weeping willow...

Dandelions galore...

 Super saturated green everywhere...

 Crabapple Blossoms...

These so remind me of honeysuckle back home. Does anyone know the name of this pink flower?
Our backyard is coming to life with these stunning flowers, the Lilac.

 The fragrance is delightful.
I stopped for a while below the Crabapple tree to take in the beauty of the fallen petals.
...brought a few sprigs of the season indoors.

Keep Calm and Throw Clay.

That's what I have been doing for the last few weeks.
I have been taking pottery classes and thought of doing a photo shoot with some of my amateur creations.
 A tiny beaker.

A bowl.

I am just a very happy person today.
When you do the glaze you just say a little prayer and hope it will turn out the way you expect it to be.
This one has just surprised me!
These ones are from my first class. Will try and share more as I get better:-)

Muir Woods National Monument, California.

We visited Muir Woods during our California trip. A lovely 12 miles drive from San Francisco.

Enveloped in a green blanket of the majestic Coastal Redwood trees, we walked into it's enchanting world. A meditative world.

A visual post this one.

nature's clockwork....

Snow melted on Thursday.
The Maple sprouted on Friday.
The grass turned green on Saturday.

I marvel at nature's clockwork.

There is a flurry of activities.
Neighbours greeting each other.
Patios and yards are being spruced up.
Nurseries are the hot spots.
Bikers galore.
Painted toes and flip-flops.
Evening chai on our patio table.

Making the most of this delightful season.

Lake Harriet...
Someone had written beautiful messages on the path...

Evening shadows...

Remnants of a season gone by...
7.pm sunlight....

Ash glaze on a fish platter...
Succulents and leaves...

It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want —oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!
~Mark Twain
